Supporting Active, Reserve, and Transitioning Military Members is a priority for Atlantic Bottling Company. We offer:
Training Pay
This benefit provides full, straight-time wages for up to 30 days per year for full-time employees enlisted in the National Reserves or National Guard to attend weekend trainings and/or annual encampments. This benefit includes Active Duty for training.
Employees are paid the amount they would otherwise had received if they would have been regularly scheduled for work during their training period (it does not include overtime pay). Normally, unscheduled days are not to be paid military pay.
Supplemental Pay
Atlantic Bottling Company also provides "Supplemental Pay" (the difference between military pay and normal Atlantic Bottling straight-time pay, when their company pay is greater) to full-time employees who have been with the company for greater than 1 year for the following:
1. Training time beyond 30 days per year (including Active Duty for Training).
2. Active-Duty assignments.
3. Deployment.
This pay difference is based on the amount the Employee would have normally received had they been scheduled to work during the period, not including overtime pay, and is paid in arrears after the final amount is paid to the employee by the military.
